registering children?
Hi all,
I was reading the FAQs on this site regarding GCs and found that somebody asked what responsibilities one has as a LPR and this reply from Rajiv was one of those responsibilities: --------------------- have your children who are permanent residents register within BCIS within 10 days of turning 14 --------------------- What does that mean? My 13 year old daughter got a green card last week (like me), but I'm not sure what "registering" her with USCIS means. link to FAQ in question: http://www.immigration.com/faq/greenvisa.html#148 The FAQs on the website are fairly old (the newest one was posted on March 2006) so this might not be current. Any opinions? Thanks,
