Travelling to India 1st time after GC-help appreciated.
I got my green card couple of months back. I'm travelling to india for 1st time after Green Card. Do I need to visit counsulate? before I reenter US. My friend told me, I have to visit counsulate to get my passport stamped or something that I have a green card before I re enter usa otherwise I cant reenter. PLease give me some advice.
Thanks in advance for help.

You do not need to do any such thing. Just carry your Green Card with you and return without having any worries. Have a great trip.
