Travel to India after GC

Hi all

Great to be here.

I and my family received GCs (cards received). We are planning to visit India this summer. The stay will be 3 months. Do we need to carry any documents other than the GCs? Does a 3 month stay require re-entry permit if so how to obttain it?

Help will be appreciated.

usually you need a permit for an absence longer than a year. See form I-131 on uscis website.

Just the green cards, and passports.
If you recently received your green cards, be sure to check for errors. (Name, DOB, etc.,)
