Possiblity of interview w/out spouse...

Husband is on active duty (not abroad, in Texas). But he can't leave till May 22nd '07. Interview is on April 17th @ Federal Plaza in NYC. Customer service says, instead of requesting a postponement, I can just go to the scheduled interview alone with all documents and I may get my GC w/out my spouse, or worst case - they'll reschedule it right there.

I had a friend who was interviewed in San Diego extensively w/out her spouse, but then 2 weeks later, her spouse was needed for a 2nd interview.

Please let me know what you know or might have heard about military wives like me getting GC w/out spouses ever appearing. How often does this happen. Does it vary based on the branch of military he's in or whether he's home or abroad. Relevant stuff like that - I asked about this before, but I got no reponses, I don't see any real/specific answers to this topic on the board & I need to know whether or not to request a postponement asap.
THANKS!!

In most cases, both husband and wife have to be at the interview. One of the exceptions is "MILITARY SPOUSE". Do not cancel. It should go well for you.
