help
hi. I have a question, I m so worried,
I filed my case based on marriage like i484 and i765 on oct 17th 2006. and i got finger printing on 7 nov 2006, and after that its been 3 months now i didnt get any thing in the mail and when i search my case status online then it says "on 31st oct we mailed u notice regarding missing evidence or info in this case" its showing this till now, so what is tht mean? I mean i didnt get anything in the mail beside fingerprinting which i already did , then wht is tht mean? do they mean by fingerprinting letter which i got on 2 nov? I dont why this is showing tht evidence is needed and blah blah and i havent received any thing in the mail beside finger printing...... can somone tell me whts tht mean? should i juz wait for interview letter or start gettin worried abt tht statement on search case site " On 31st oct, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case" are they refering this statement to as finger printing? or does it mean somthin else?? please do response..... appreciated |

Hi Ladybird,
Is the application support center near you? If so, I would suggest making an Infopass and seeing someone about the missing letter. Have you tried calling the 800 number and checking with them on this? Just some thoughts |

They sent you a "Request for Evidence" (usually called a RFE here), which means that they needed some extra information from you. You should have recieved a letter in the mail about it. As you didn't you need to make an infopass appointment ASAP to talk to someone about it as not responding to this letter can mean your case gets denied.
