common language with spouse

i read somewhere that having a common language with spouse makes a difference for the approval of immigration through marriage... however the website didn't indicate whether it makes them look upon it more favorably or negatively; i just assumed that it was more favorable because u both have a common cultural background, was i correct in my assumption?

Hi tough_book

Having a language in common helps you to communicate. It may be from the same culture or other cultures. As long as you are able to communicate and maintain and cherish a relationship, thats what counts, regardless of culture. I really think USCIS looks at more than something so trivial, it looks at all the other evidences of bonafide marriage. They want to make sure your marriage is not fake.

Weel, I think USCIS includes English as well.
I mean, if a couple doesn't have a common language (included English) to communicate with each other.....How could that be a couple?
