H1B expire to EAD wait
I am in the US as an H1B and my status expires in Jan 07 (about 1 month earlier than I thought). I married a few weeks ago to a US citizen (yes it is a bona fide marriage-we have been dating for 5.5 years!) and we are sending all our papers in a few days. Can I still work even when my H1B expires while I wait for my EAD approval? Thanks

Short answer: No.
Not legally anyway.
