A Question

Hi everyone
My F1 visa is going to be expired in a month. I have sent my application for GC through marriage two weeks ago. I don’t have any recipient or approval right now. Am I staying in the states legally? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should receive your receipt notice in the near future. That will be proof of your pending AOS status.

Note, you do not mention if you are still maintaining F1 status. If you are still currently a student abiding by those conditions, your status will not expire when the visa does. You are admitted to US D/S (for duration of status) --- your status will only expire when you cease to maintain student status.
