What sort of immigrant visa was it? On what basis did you obtain it? Giving us these details might allow folks here to advise you better.
All the best.

Local DO
You should go a local USCIS office and ask to speak to a rep. I am not sure how much they know about your situation, but you are better off talking to someone there.
Also, what type of immigrant visa do you have? |

Are you in the US already, or are you still in Pakistan? If you're in the US, make an Infopass appointment with USCIS and also contact an attorney. If you are outside the US, I don't know what else to suggest except to approach the US embassy again to see what's going on.
All the best.

Is your father, the sponsor, in the US? Perhaps he can take it up on this side -- since it is a benefit to him (having his relative granted a green card) that appears to have been denied. Can he speak to an atttorney in the US?

What is the visa issuance date?
If its recent then looks like a mistake by embassy. Immigrant visa are normally valid for six months. I would suggest you to call embassy and explain them. If possible try to visit embassy and explain your situation. Try to get a supervisor.
