My DORA Experience approved in 85 days!

Hi,

Just want to share my DORA experience, it may be of help to someone else.
We lived in a Dallas/Forth Worth.
In sum, it has been the most pleasant experience I ever had dealing with CIS.

All in 2006

8/14 -- interview
Not too many questions, because we have been married for 3 years, and we also have a child. The officer was very very nice and my wife and I both agreed that she was really cute. In and out in 10 minutes.

8/24 -- received receipts for both I-130 and I-485.

9/12 -- first finger print date.
wait in the waiting room and then the littler waiting room. The members of the staff there are very professional and friendly.

9/30 -- received notice to re-fingerprint, appointment date 10/25

10/04 or 05 --we walk-in to get the fingerprint and they allowed. So we don't have to wait until 10/25 for the fingerprint, I believe it sped up the process as well. I was told that they accept walk-in every Wednesday or Tuesday, I can't remember exactly.

....wait

11/08 -- received notices on the approval to both I-130 and I-485.
the I-485 approval notices stated that we will receive the Green Card in 3 weeks.

Good luck everyone!
