For those waiting more than 90 days for an EAD
Hi All!
I went to a THIRD INFOPASS appointment today regarding my EAD since it has been 128 days since I filed 1-765, I-130 and I-485. The first two times I went, they just told me to keep waiting, however, today, they finally decided to accept that my APPROVED application was missing, and even though the officer that interviewed me in Idaho stamped it and told me he would fax it to NBC, the officer I talked to in San Antonio, Texas today told me they could not find it in the file. So, he just made me fill out a new I-765, approved it and faxed it to NBC, only this time I actually saw the receipt confirmation from the fax. He said it should take the regular 10-15 days for me to take the card. So, for those of you going to INFOPASS appointments requesting an iEAD, which, as we all know is a thing of the past, you might consider asking for the current status of the application (for those of you who got it approved at the interview), they can call NBC to see what the status is on it if they had faxed it. An officer told me last time that as long as they have your physical file in the office and your card seems to take forever to get to you or appears to be lost, they can re-fax it to NBC for production. I hope this helps, it was quite a releif for me since I have not been able to work for almost two months now waiting for the EAD to arrive since the interview.
