Spelling mistake on Approval letter Issue
I am not sure how worried we should be as there are two mistakes on approval letter. First name and middle initial was spell wrong.
Our whole process went really fast and which i think the reason why our background (namecheck?) didn't arrive on time for the immigration office to stamp the passport. Now that its been almost a month since our interview (sept 21st), I realized that the spellings were wrong on the approval letter (I 130). My question to all fellow mates is... is it a big issue? should i call/write a letter to fix it? I am going to pay for noticing it late? is it going to effect on fbi name check and is USCIS going to match my namecheck or I130 approval to process them? I am not sure if i should be but I am really worried after finding that out!! Hopefully none went through this!!! any insight or comments from you would help...

Since you have been approved for green card. No need for EAD.
You will need to write and send notice to USCIS. You also need to call. It may take 2 months to get that straightened out but it might be ok for you since you have went through your process. it didnt hold up your I-485. Since this is the US Spouses name, it may be cleared up a little easier and i didn't know that the US spouse had to have FBI name check Glad you got approved but like i said the EAD is not necessary now that you will have your green card in a matter of days. (hopefully). But i know you need to finalize and propriate everything. Good luck and Godspeed.
