h4 to h1 change of status query
hi all
i have filed 2 h1 petitions for h4 to h1 change of status. now i had following concern : 1) my first h1 petition gets approved. that will automatically change my status from h4 to h1. so when uscis handles my second h1 petition, inwhich i am more interested, suppose they approve the 2nd petition too. further they will process changeof status documents in the second petition. but my first h1 petition would have already changed status from h4 to h1. what happens then ?? will they reject my second petition on these grounds or will the second petition will approve but change of status will not be processed ? how do they handle this ?? do they consider second petition fresh irrespective of first and again provide h4 to h1 change of status with second petition too ? plz help.. and reply..
