Question on Case Status.

Hi,

My lawyer has applied for H1B transfer-regular processing on Sept-5. We did not get receipt notice yet. But my lawyer has obtained receipt number by contacting USCIS California Service Center. Now the status have changed to the following in USCIS portal.

On October 6, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.
--------------------------

What does this mean? We have not yet recieved any document but. Can you please help? Did any of you get similar status before?
