Why would my SS# keep saying

Its invaild??? It was issued a week ago and when we opened up a account today we was told my ss# is invaild I am so confused

Have you tried calling the SS office? Most likely, it hasn't been registered in the system yet.

I have the card already and applied 9-21 for the card..Well I will call em and see whats up

Hi,

It happened to me as well. Though ur SS# card was issued to you it takes a few days for it to get activated. This happened to me when i got my SS#. I went to open a bank account and they said it was invalid. When i called the SS# office they told me that its usual and there was no need to panic.

I called ssa they said its all good but cant get a cell phone yet cause it still says invaild wonder how long its gonna take to get it all straight
