Lost Green Card!!!Help

OK, my house was burlgarized a few weeks ago, they took every thing, from money to paperwork. Anyhow, my green card is missing along w/ everything. I need help locating my A# to re-apply for my green card. I know the process to reapply online but I don't know my A#. I have a copy of my old passport when I entered the US, on the visa, there's a registration number. Is that the same as my A#. What are some other ways I can get my A#? Go to the social security office or the INS office?

If you use your EAD, green card, etc as eligibility then your employer can help you out and should a copy of it. Plus the number that starts with"A" in your visa should be the same but I am not sure about that.

Contact the credit bureaus to avoid theft identity and the missuse of your data.

Good luck,
