Can a GC folder be out of US two year for a degree program

Hi:

I have GC. I plan to pursue a MBA in Canada for two years. How can I maintain my GC status, which requires half-year per year residence?

Education Abroad is a very good reason to prove that your stay abroad is temporary in nature and you plan to return once you graduate.

Apply for Re-Entry permit (I-131) which is usually valid for two years and you should have no problems maintaining your Green Card.
