Attention: EB Immigrants with F2A Delays (Nuclear family separation)

After months of effort, UnitedFamilies.org has arranged a meeting
with the senior aide of Senator Cornyn, Chairman
of the Senate Immigration Subcommittee. As you may know Senator Cornyn
is a proponent of the SKIL bill that has various provisions to help
employment immigrants. The bill currently does not have any provisions
to help employment immigrants who married after they got their green cards.

We need to present a document to the Senator that contains as many
stories of employment immigrants in our situation as possible.
*** Let us not miss this opportunity ***

If you obtained your green card through employment immigration (H-1B ->
green card, L-1 -> green card, extraordinary ability green card, etc.),
please the following data to the email id given at the end of this
post.

. Your name
. The year you got your green card
. The year you got married
. The reason you got your green card (e.g., software engineer working
for a multinational corporation in California, PhD from Stanford with
multiple papers accepted to prestigious conferences, manager of a high
profile company in Texas)

This document will show the Senator that this class of desirable
immigrants is being ignored in the immigration debate.

If you are an employment immigrant and suffering separation from your
nuclear family because of F2A delays, please don't hesitate to send
the above details to the following email id. Your immigration status and
the status of your spouse's/child' s petition will not be adversely
affected by this. Also, pass on this information to anyone whom
you know is in similar situation.
