Good deal Add the number of days from your notice date for RFE to their Received date, and that will be about how much more time to add to your timeline to get it.

At least that's how it went for most of us filing in April/May 06.

God I hope it dont take that long,The online date says June 23rd (updated June 26th) got the mail for the RFE July 3rd sent it back into them Aug 9th they got it according to usps Aug 15th at 1037 am update online says they got it Aig 17th... We are moving out of state the end of this month and hopefully that dont cause another huge delay...We are moving from DO: Helena Montana to DO: Phoenix Arizona...Our oldest has alot of medical and mental health issues so this move is needed for her otherwise we would have just waited it out to get the interview done here..Anyways thanks for the input I appercaite it alot

I sent my RFE on August 9th express mail since they've been requesting for the evidence since April. Lawyer's fault , long story. I also received the same message saying they received my RFE on August 12th (last updated August 16th) I've been waiting for my EAD for more than 4 months so I really hope they hurry up with mine as well. Hope you'll get yours soon too.

noy, was that rfp within the timeframe of the letter's instruction? i got rfp saying that they needed the info within 87 days, and if no answer, case was abandoned. and they also told me that 90 days after they got the info could i get the ead.

did you get a letter such as this? if so, then 90 days start on aug 12th. if not, do you know what ead dates your local office has?

inquisitor, i can't answer your question because our lawyer does all the paper work all i know is that we didn't answer within the time frame which is why our lawyer sent it express mail.the rfe letter was sent in april and our lawyer just sent it in august. so are you trying to say that on the 12th of august is when i start counting 90 days till i get my ead? i hope not cause i can't wait that damn long anymore.

that is what my letter said. it depends on the sort of case you have too. there was a person here whose rfp letter stated that it wasn't going to affect her ead. mine said that by law i can't get iead or ead 90 days after they got my rfp. so it depends on which letter you got.

i hope your lawyer sent in a valid reason or saying it was his fault. otherwise, if immigration is true to its word, you will need to refile. and since it was your lawyer's fault, i trust they do any new fees or forms for free. the medical exam, was that within the last year?
