No interview letter yet/just over 90 days waiting

I can't help but wonder what's up. Obviously we have to be patient, but soooo many applicants in our date range on here of the same marriage based AOS cases have either already :
1 received an interview date and are pending.
2 completed the interview and are pending name check
3 completed the interview, passport stamped and waiting on GC
4 Completed the interview, and rec'd the GC.

I called the WORTHLESS call center only to get the same BS they always shell out. Threw the 'going on vacation' line and managed to get to an immi officer who basically said, wait. I think the LUD's 2 days ago might lead to an interview appointment, but dammit - not having access to the real status/information is very frustrating.

Bah, just feeling the personal and financial pressures...

Carry on.

I hear your frustration, SomeItGuy. I think we get hopeful seeing some of the cases move through SO fast and some just kind of linger. Every day is a kind of rollercoaster limbo. My husband just sits around with his hands kind of tied while I work. I usually travel-to-work and make really good money, but had to take a permanent staff position (read low pay here) in order to get our medical and life insurance stuff and give us a stable "address" at which to receive the mail that seems to never come. So financially, its killing us. I think it helps to be able to blow off steam here, so apologies to everyone for complaining again !

SomeItGuy, I know it's frustrating and I totally understand. What's your DO again? Maybe it does have something to do with your DO, too. Did you try scheduling an Infopass? Sometimes that's helpful, in order to ease your mind. They would see whether it got lost or not.

I know the financial pressures you are talking about. It's a nasty feeling. You are not alone though, and keep believing: Things can only get better!

I see you have your EAD card a lot of people pay for it and never get it, so I think that is a blessing, that should allow you to work and earn some $$ while waiting for the GC interview.

Lighten up try to keep your mind off the process,

We all are anxious over the whole thing and constantly waiting is hard, re-focus your energy and just be patient!

The 90 days people are more the exception to the rule. Looks like the average is more like 5-6 months.

My receipt numbers aren't even available online yet and it's been 2.5 weeks. What can I do? Nothing. Some people get lucky and wiz through it, some don't. You have an EAD, you can work, just let it work itself out.

Thank you!
I have lived here for 9 years. I start every morning with a run on Hermosa Beach, and try to end every evening watching the sunset with my beautiful wife and Daughter. attached

The only downfall is it costs over 2K to rent a 2 bedroom townhouse,

Thats why we are in a hurry to get th EAD so my wife can work part time and we can start saving money to put down for a home.

Don't complain.
It takes the same money to rent a studio (maybe a Jr 1BR if you're extra lucky) in downtown Manhattan.... but I have to say it's well worth it.

$2K for a townhouse near the beach? And you're complaining? when I lived in Boston I was paying $1900 for a 1 bedroom apartment, nowhere near the beach.

Glad I got out of there when I did and moved to LV just in time to catch the astronomical housing market wave (which is pretty much over).

Hey friends,

No interview letter yet..Dont know what to do?

I am getting good offer outside CA but dont want to change the Address, otherwise, D.O will change, need to file AR 11, and lots of hassles...

I havent seen a single update online for i485 ....

Do you think I need to take infopass and visit DO once?

Hey which processing timeline do I need to see for the I-130? My DO is Santa Ana, CA.

Thanks in advance and best of luck....

Kinda funny though right?

We're going to see if we can get the AP with the infopass.
We need to get to Canada in the last week of August.

I'm kinda thinking we will get it before the appointment,
but made it just in case.
