Writ of Mandamus delayed I-485

I applied through US citizen husband back in January 2004. After 1,5 years at the first interview my file was lost.. ..then after1 year the second time I got a beginner officer who had no authority for approval (or lied it).It was now 3 month ego.... I never had attorney, since we have numerous joint documents and married already for 3 years, never overstayed or had any "black" point in my history. We are both professionals and beleived in the system will work. But now I came to the point to hire an attorney and I found Julie Fergusson in Miami, who is brilliant and not expensive to file the Complaint. To be honest, I didn't want to get the chance to get in the loser position again. Before my interview I was sure I don't need lawyer, nothing can go wrong... And I didn;'t get approval. So now I spent the money and hope. If anyone has any advise or experience from Florida before the all litigation begin, please let me know, I appreciat it.

Good luck Pillango.

Please keep us posted regarding the progression of your process. While there are a vocal few here who oppose the use of the courts to motivate DHS and FBI, I think there are many more who are in situations similar to yours and considering the same action you're taking.

Again, please keep us posted.

Best luck,
Lardbird
