Can you get RFE after you receive the interview letter?

We got our interview letter last week and the interview date is September 12. Does that mean that we are not going to get an RFE? Or can we still get an RFE at any point?

Nope, I don't think so. Otherwise they wouldn't have set up the interview.
Pretty fast actually. What's your DO again?

Yeah they can only issue the interview letter when they have everything they need for your I-485. Looks like your RFE-free.

What is your Do, where are you located, your case was fast! 91 days

is your case just simple AOS married to USC?

I notice you had sent the I765- look slike you will have interview and if all goes well approval before you even get or need EAD.

As far as RFE question, once you get interview letter you are free and clear, Make sure you have everything you need at the interview so they can approve your case.

Bring original marriage Liscense and BC (certified state issued)

Good Luck

I notice our timelines are only about 1 week apart, you got your FP done in 2 weeks from filing date, mine took 30 days,

I am curious if you had standard AOS through marriage case, did you have an attorney help you file?

I counted my days starting from the day I mailed my forms, I notice you counted your days from the ND issued

Anyway good on ye for getting everything filed with no RFE's and interview in 91 days,

One again Good Luck!

Thanks for your replys. I am glad to hear that we should not technically get any RFEs anymore but you never know! My I-797C (NOA) is tittled, "REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW". That means it may just be the begining and it might not be the final interview. What do you think of that??

I am not sure what our DO is. All four of our cases are being processed by Lee's Summit, MO. I got my biometrics done at Jamaica, NY. I am shceduled for my interview at Garden City, NY.

Addie_Goodvibes, I hope you are right about not needing my EAD or advanced parole if everythihg goes right on the interview because we are scheduled to travel to my spouse's home country on the final week of October! Our case is simple/standard AOS through marriage. We did not use any lawyers but I used a lot of information provided on this board. As for using the ND as Day 000, I think I may have seen some postings stating that the ND should be date you should consider for counting days.

WOW!
I'm in New York as well and I'm at day 32, same day you received your interview notice.
I still have no LUD after my FP so I guess mine is not on the way yet.
As far as ND...well...I put it as day 1...so you really got your interview notice at day 33

Your DO is New York.
It depends on your residence.
I figure out you live in Queens, right?

As far as the initial interview question, and would there be another one...

If you blow the interview and the officer thinks the marriage is a sham, then
they can send you for a second more detailed interview. AKA STOKES.
