F1 to AOS - very confused please help

Hello!


My last entry in the US was with a F1 visa. Before I got married I had an B1 visa which we changed to F1 in 2002. I got married October 19th, 2001 in my home country. Before my marriage I had been coming to the US on B1 visa. After I graduated from high school I came to the US and my husband sponored me for an F1 visa. They approved it knowing it was my husband sponosring me. We did not have much knowldge about the green card all we wanted was for me to get an education. We now are filling out our change of status papers because I am graduating next year.

Quetion: It is going to be be strange that we did not file earlier?


We got married in court and have all the prove. We have our

- marriage certificates
- Our bank accounts
- Flight ticket of traveling everywhere together.
- I am on his health insurance
- Car insurance
- Life insurance
- Cards and letters from back home
- hotels reservation from all our trips with our names on them
- Prove that he pays for my school
- We own a car together
- We belong to the same church
He got his house from his parents so the house is already preowned.
- We have our house back homw with both our names on it.
- We have vidoes and pictures.
- We have western union receipts to prove that he was sending me money while in high school.
- Right now we have receipts proving he sends money to my mom.
- Because we got married in court we do not have marriage pictures but we have many happy pictures. What more prove can we have to prove that we have been happily married. We have tried to have babies but we keep loosing them. We are praying that God will grant us many babies one day.
