will 2 different petitions have any conflict?

Hello! I really need someone who can clear my mind regarding the plans I will take in the next 3 to 5 years. My boyfriend for 8 years and I decided to get married this year. He is a US immigrant and has been staying in the US for 3 years but he always finds time to come to the Philippines for a vacation. Since we’re planning to get married and he is planning to petition me as his spouse, I really do have many questions regarding this because I want to be sure that what we’re going to do won’t make matters worse.

1. First of all, I want to know how long will my bf be a citizen? Will his yearly vacation (2 months per year) affect the status of citizenship? Will it be faster if we just wait for his citizenship before we get married?

2. if we get married this year and we wait for his citizenship to take effect before he petitions me as his wife, will it be faster than petitioning me while he is still an immigrant?

3. and here is the biggest dilemma of all. I am also a physical therapist and i already have an employer who offers an immigrant visa for me in florida. I would just like to know if my husband-to-be petitions me as his spouse, will it have any conflicts with the petition my employer is going to file for me? Will I get denied? Or if my employer decides to file an H1B instead of an immigrant visa, will it conflict with the petition filed by my husband-to-be on my behalf?

I really need some clear answers regarding this and if anyone has any suggestions of what will be the best move for my bf and I, I am very much welcome to hear (or read) those suggestions.

Thank you again.
