Traveling to Canada - H1b or AP

I recently received my AP and EAD. I need to travel to canada for work for a week

1. Is it safe to travel? Will I have any problems to re-enter?

2. Should I enter using AP or H1b? visitors line to PR line at the airport?

Thanks

You should not have any problems. (unless you are carrying drugs or weapons )

2. Should I enter using AP or H1b?
That is your choice.

visitors line to PR line at the airport?
Since you are not a permanet resident, you will have to look for signs at your airport as each airport has different rules on which line you should wait in. When in doubt, ask the security personnel near the immigration counter.

Thanks

There is a difference between using AP or your H1b.. AP, you are not admitted, you are paroled into the US. Your H1b you are admitted. The difference is small but matters if you are ever subject to removal. Read over your AP document carefully and then weigh your options.

I recently travelled to Canada, and I have both AP and H1b.
If you are still employed by the company that sponsored your H1b, USE THE H1b. - That's a quote from the Border Immigration People.

I am no longer employed by the employer that sponsored my H1b, but they still wanted me to enter the U.S. using my H1b, but I refused because there could be problems in the future. It is a lot simpler for the border people to have you enter using H1b.
