No it was stolen from car in parking lot when checking in luggage in home country. I mistakenly forgot hand luggage in the car.

So the only thing that you have is your visa stamped in your passport?

Well, they must check out who are you since you do not have any of your documents. It is necessary that you contact your family in your home country and if you make photocopies of your papers, send them to you asap. Plus will be good that they send to you at least your birth certificate or whatever other information about you that you used in your dv process.

You can check out more about this over here:
http://uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/deferred.htm and there is the link for cbp.gov

Good luck,

How did they let you in on the plane? They normally would not allow you if you dont have a visa or any document that allows you entry to your destination country.
You knew you lost your documents and have nothing to help you get an entry into the US, and yet you still took the flight?

See more over here:

http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/c...inspection.xml

Did they gave you a note about what documents you should bring?

There is something that probably I am misunderstanding and want to be sure, your DV was stolen and did you report it to the police?

I think at least s/he must have the visa stamped, there is no way that a person get on the plane without a visa, because the airline will have to pay a huge fine...ah plus you got deported.

Correct, The Visa Is Stamped On The Passport And That Allowed Me To Travel. What Was Stolen Just B4 Boarding The Flight Was The Sealed Package That Was Supposed To Be Presented To Poe Official (ins) In The Us.

Anyone Had Similar Experience?

The Homeland Sec Promised To Contact Embassy In Home Country For Copies Of The Stolen Docs.

Ah okay, that was a smart move. Sometimes people do not realize how important is to file a report with the police. Not necessarily for the issues that probably you won't see your documents again but because with a report can help you out to explain many other things.

Okay, hope things going in their way and remembe to show up on time and with the documents that at least your family can send to you.

Good luck,
