Increase in AOS Approvals
Is it me or other people have also noticed an increase in AOS approvals recently? I have seen several AOS approvals in the last 2 week. Does anyone know if there is a special initiative to cleanup the backlog?

11/19/2004 – i-485 filed through DORA.
11/30/2004 – FP
12/01/2006 – FBI completes FP
12/07/2004 - LUD Change - FP Received
11/22/2005 - Applied for Renewal EAD
12/16/2005 - Biometrics for Renewal EAD
02/23/2006 - Received Renewal EAD
10/31/2006 - Applied for Renewal EAD
11/25/2006 - Biometrics for Renewal EAD
12/01/2006 - Received Welcome Letter Mailed Email from USCIS

It looks like they are working on cleaning up the backlog, specially if you will look at the slower DOs, they are also speeding up now. Good for everyone.

I think in part probably means that the changes on the process like to create the Chicago Lockbox for family based applications was a good idea. Or probably we weren't so aware about others experiences until now.
