HI-B Transfer REF
Hi,
I worked for an IT company from last year and half on CPT and on OPT for couple of months. I finally got the H1-B from the same company. I got an offer from my client company and they applied for H1-B transfer (premium processing). I got a query from USCIS and they asked for : 1)Employement Verification Letter from the previous employer. (IT company I worked for) 2)Recent pay stubs from my previous Employer (IT company I worked for) When I applied for H1-B transfer thru my new company's attorneys, I put a break on my resume for 3 months though I was still working for the IT company. In the employment letter I submitted to USCIS now in the response to their REF, the previous employer included those months also in the letter. I am just worried why USCIS is taking so much time in processing the H1B transfer. and also does USCIS contacts IRS if there is some issue. When I check the status online, it says "The response to the REF was received on "xyz" date and the final written notice will be mailed to you". It already more than 4 days that the response was submitted to the USCIS. Please advice on this. |
