H1-B Amendment Question
Hi Immigration Gurus,
I have a question regarding H1-B Amendment. We have applied for H1-B Amendment from Programmer/Analyst to Software Engineer. I have checked the status on-line @ cis.gov. CIS has received the application on September 2, 2005. It just says "they have received application on Sep2 , 2005 and it takes 90-150 days to process the application". The status as not changed for months now. My i-94 expires on August 17, 2006. I am really worried. We have opened a case referral on Feb7, 2006. but even that takes 30 days to process. since i have to travel outside USA, i was thinking to apply for amendment through premium process. Would applying via premium do any harm now? If anyone has gone through similar situation please throw some light. Thanks for all the help and time. thanks
