Married after receiving GreenCard
I got my Greencard mid 2003 and got married end of 2004. My wife is from India and she completed her Master's last year sometime around Aug' 05. Per my discussion with an attorney, I was told that the regular filing process would take about 3 to 4 years but in the interim getting her on a F1 or a H1 was an option that could be looked into, so that she could get here sooner. My wife was at the embassy in Dec' 05 for a student visa (F1) interview and it got rejected. With the rejection of the F1, how long will I have to wait before I can file for a H1 visa. In the light of the above, pls advise what are the other options that I could pursue. Thanks!!
