H1B Transfer upgrading from Normal to Premium Processing
What is the name of your state? NJ
I have offer from an Employer and they have processed for H1B Transfer under normal processing. I have received the receipt notice abt a month ago(18 Dec 2005). It will take 3 to 4 months to get the H1B approved. I want to upgrade to Premium Processing. But my new Employer says that if I upgrade now it will take 5 weeks and that there could be a query so total time will be 3 months. So there is no point in upgrading. I want to know how long will it really takes for approval if I upgrade to Premium Processing? Kindly reply. Thanks in advance

it takes 15 days after filing for upgrade to get visa approval (or rejection). Normally it would take 3-4 days for lawyer to file for an upgrade, so total time for approval should be less than 3 weeks.

If I have not received receipt, can I file the same transfer petition again under Premium Process? I know I would have to pay for the filing fee again, but is there any issue in filing the same petition again?
