Pending 485 through Employment. Can i apply another 485 through family?

Hi all,
I have a pending I485 employment EB3. As you all know the current PDs are in 2000 my PD is in 2004 Jan its taking too long to get my actually GC. I already have the EAD and AP.
My wife is US Citizen and i have an approved 1-130 as i applied it when we were married at that time my wife is on GreenCard.

1) My question is can i apply another 485 through my wife?
2) If so can i use my current AP to travel?

Sure you can apply for another I485. I am not sure about using AP since it has came from Employment based application.

But I think you could apply for a new AP with your new family based adjustment application (why not?). As long as you have maintained legal status in the states, no problems there.

Yes i have a legal status.

I am planning to travel in april if i apply the AP through familybase and if in case it did not get approved with in april can i use the one which i have through Employment?
If i use the employment AP does it effect the Familybase 485 Application?


Also if i apply 485 through family do i still need to apply the Biometric application as i already did on the other 485? also the I693 application?

Im a lil lost here. You mentioned you already applied for I-485 and is pending, so what does PD has to do with it?

Hi,
When i applied 485 at that time there was no PD after i applied the PD came to picture and the USCIS told that the 485s already applied cannot be approved unless the PD is current(But can renew the EAD and AP`s). To my bad luck the PD the USCIS had set is 1999 for EB3.
