InfoPass appointment in Los Angeles DO

Hello,
Can some one tell me the time they had to wait for the next available appointment using InfoPass in the Los Angeles DO? I have a job offer to start January 3rd (Monday) - which is 91st days from my RD.

I am thinking of getting an InfoPass for the December 29th - and am thinking of taking one in advance for my iEAD and then cancel it if I get my EAD by then.

Also, do you think the DO will give me the iEAD if its about 3-4 days before my 90 day RD? Or you thik I should ask my employer to postpone the start date by some time?

Rajesh,

May be you know this already. If you go to their website and try to make an appointment, it will prompt for a set of dates. Previously they used to open two weeks at a time. Now I think it has changed.

Just be aware that there is some way they know you have tried to get an appt that day. So you may not be able to get another one the same day.

Do I need to take my wife (USC) along for the InfoPass appointment?

I am thinking of taking the InfoPass to request for an iEAD.

Your wife has nothing to do with getting your iEAD. Unless ofcourse you want her to give you company while you wait

All you need is your I-485/I-765 receipt, passport, DL, completed I-765 form.
