H1B Approval

Hello,
I have filed for H1 B processing at Vermont service center on May31st, and the present Vermont service center processing date is August 6, Usually it takes 90-150 days for Normal H1B processing, already i crossed 150 days, but still i didnt get my H1 application approval yet.
Would it be harmful if i call National Customer Service Center to check the status of my appplication.
I would be so glad if anyone could help me out of this problem.

You should call the National Customer Service Center immediately. There is no harm in this and you can call them as many times as you have to.

It is a law, I think that they have to reply within 180 days.

The site says they are processing ... Aug 06,05. You can call them, nothing wrong. You might have seen this.

If you filed your case 30 days or more before the date shown under the heading “Processing Cases with Receipt Date of” and you have not received a request for evidence, a decision, or another notice in the last thirty days, please call our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Once you call them you can also see that the LUD change and they will respond with a timeframe of 30 days
