Similar Problem..

First off, thanks for the forum--moderators, people who reply and people with knowledge on the myriad immigration issues..

I guess I have a similar problem with the name part..My first name consists of two words like "Ravi" "Kumar"..and the last name is totally different..when my company filed for the H1, they made the "Kumar" into the middle name..and so in the H-1 approval notice the name appears as Ravi.R.(lastname)..all my official records including social security & passport have Ravi Kumar as the first name..

I would like to know if this is a big deal or I can still get away with it..cos I have heard people saying that for the H-1 stamping process, only the last name counts and the minor discrepancies in first names might be OK..

If people have had similar experiences it will be good to know about it..Appreicate your help on this..
