How to maintain GC while out of US?
friends this may not the the most appropriate forum for this discussion hence apologies but any input will be appreciated
1. Hypothetically speaking, if I get my GC and then I take up a job in India, how can I maintain GC status? 2. Does anyone know how many visits in a year will be necessary? I am planning to rent out my house rather than sell it so that we will be maintaining residence in the US at least on paper. 3. What about my US born children. I have heard that they can pick up their US citizenship at 18? what is involved in this? I am very keen to go back home but am worried that if it may not work out and would like the maintain GC at any cost, at least for the first couple of years.
