How long to receive Notification of Receipt of I-130?
Hello,
I am a US Citizen. I filed the I-130 on Oct 28, 2005 for my wife who is living outside the US. I have three questions: 1. How long does it take to get the Notification of Receipt for the I-130? 2. Is there anything else I can do, e.g. file any other forms, while I wait for the Notification Receipt. My understanding is that I have to wait for the Notification receipt, and use the Notification to file the I-129F form? There is not much else I can do for now? Am I correct? 3. And after I file the I-129F, I basically wait for the approval of the I-130 or I-129F, which ever gets done faster? Am I correct? Thank you, Aha.
