H4 to H1- Approval date and Working date

Can a H4 to H1 applicant currently in US start working for the new employer as soon as the USCIS website shows Change of Status from H4 to H1 as approved?

Or is it necessary to wait until all the paper work(I-797, I129 etc.) to arrive at the employer's/lawyer's office and then start working for the employer?

Please note that the H4 applicant already has SSN as she was previously working on H1.

Any input in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
