H-1 Applied on May 15th - Status: Pending
Guys:
My employer applied for my H-1 on May 15th and As of Today Oct 25th, the status is still PENDING. Can anyone please tell me what should i do? My attorney gives me the reason that it is LEGALLY not 150 days because of holidays and weekends. Is it true? Please help. Hemant

Hemant,
From your location can I assume that your case is filed in Vermont? If so since your receipt date is May 15 and the Vermont processing complete upto May 28 2005 in the listing. https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/js...Center=Vermont You may wait till the date in the above listing changes to June 15 2005 or more to initiate a query. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am not an attorney. If you have $1000? Upgrade to premimum process. That is my advice. I did the same thing I got approved in 1 week or else wait till you get the result.
