California traffic ticket

I got a illegal left turn traffic ticket in 1998 or 1999. I understand that I need to write it in the application form but I didn't keep the record. Where can I get that information? From DMV or local police department or local traffic court?

Thanks a lot!

Do you remmeber where iy happened? if so, drive to that
place and keep making illegal left turn untill a cop
gives you a ticket. By reading that ticket, you
would know which courts keeps records

warning ticket?

Several years ago I got a "warning ticket" for a fused headlamp bulb. At that timet the cop told me it does not go in to the record - just like parking fine, just fix it in next 7 days and then show it to the local police office to get it cancelled. I too did not keep any records.

Do I need to need to mention this and if so in my case I guess I would need to go to the city police to get a print out of the "offense" if that can be called such??

thanks for your response.

I don't think USCIS cares about such matters. If everyone
disclose such trivial details, USCISD will be buried with
friviolous information.

Incorrect -- its a citation & it needs to be disclosed.

I don't think we should try to figure out what USCIS cares about or not

I am not sure what you mean

Where should you disclose this? In the interview they ask about fines and such which may indicate criminal records or citations but I am not sure this includes minor traffic tickets or warnings.

Thanks,
Spartakus
