I-140 & 485 just got approved - what now needs to be done?

Hi

I got notification that my I-480 & I-485's are approved - it was EB-1 EA (self sponsored).

1) What do I need to do now ?

2) Should I go to a CIS office and get it stamped in my passport? What are the advantages?

3) How long does it take to get the actual GreenCards?

4) If I travel overseas, is there any thing I need to do - what docs should I carry? Should I get a re-entry permit?

5) Should I continue to do the AR-11, every time I move home?

Thank you

You should get an approval letter telling you where to go for a passport stamp
and ordering the plastic green card.

To travel overseas for less than 1 year, you do not need re-entry permit but the GC or passport stamp

You should file AR-11 every time you move (within 10 days of the moving date)

You should get a new SSN card

... Enjoy.

... These days many people are getting card without stamping. Check approval letter you got from USCIS. If it doesn't say anything about stamping (or FP), you don't need to. Stamping is required in case you want to leave US before getting card.

3) How long does it take to get the actual GreenCards?
... That depends upon DO (location).

4) If I travel overseas, is there any thing I need to do - what docs should I carry? Should I get a re-entry permit?
... Carry your passport & card. Re-Entry permit is required if you are planning to stay out of US over a year. Re-entry permits are generally valid for two years from the date of issuance of the re-entry permit. The LPR should apply for this benefit before leaving the U.S.

5) Should I continue to do the AR-11, every time I move home?
... Yes.

Thank you
