Employer rating site

Have anyone come across any site / link that gives some useful information on Companies / Consulting companies that could become our potential employer. There is ample rating / info given for fortune 500 companies ... but for getting more info for non fortune 500 company ... the only place sometime is the company website ...

Is there any service that provides such potentail employer info by entering some basic info abt that company (similar on the lines of finding details abt individual thru his / her SSN)

Thought ... such service be helpful while making some career choices after getting GC.

Any thoughts apppreciated.

Cheers
Abhimanyu

My friend, your common sense grown out of your head. Most of hotshot companies does have very strict contracts. I don't blame you if you are out of job or unemployed. Spend your time in finding suitable job for yourself rather posting here. Just a friendly suggestion.

abhimanyu, its very good idea, you never know...how bout we start together this business??

****,

Appreciate your feedback on common sense ... but in this case i was talking abt companies that are legitimate and do not ask for any bond signing or refund of training fees if one quits... (i thought these all were the blood sucker parasites that one might have to go thru while working on non-immigrant visa... y would anyone even consider joining such company after GC)

99.999% of times, the companies that u might want to work after GC would have sleak websites ... with Management vision, philosophy ... blah blah blah ... and contact details ... but what i was looking for is true subjective assesment ... something like Kelly's blue book for cars

I agree to your point ... it will be common sense in the end that will help to make a rite choice ... but its always good to have some tools / info on hand to help use the common sense more effectively and make a better choice

cheers
Abhimanyu
