Re-enter US from Vancouver as PR
Does anybody have any recent experience re-entering the US from Vancouver back to Seattle as green card holder?
My husband and I are both PR and would like to take a short trip to Canada from the US in a few weeks. What is likely to happen at the US border? Will we go through the same procedures as entering through an airport? Can anyone tell us what documents need to bring along? Thanks. |

Just carry your passports and green cards. Nothing else to carry. Make a note of the dates of your trip. You will need it, if and when, you decide to apply for citizenship in future. Enjoy the trip!

We are thinking of taking shuttle bus back and forth between Seattle and Vancouver. Does anybody have experience with it lately?
Other than green card and passport, anything else? Any other proof of our departure timeframe from the US? e.g. credit card bills and bank statement etc? We had heard that cross the land border can be troublesome sometimes. |

At the border i just handed over my GC and passport to the officer without even asking. People here says even passport is not required. So i guess you would be fine.
