DHS did process AR-11

They returned my AR-11 saying they can not process it
because I did not put down my DOB (indeed I did not).

They asked me to re-submit it.

The letter they sent me is pre-printed one
with a list of reason why it can not be
processed.

One reason there is
"Money is being returned it is not required for a change of address"

I have to re-send my AR-11 but it shows they do
process AR-11 rather than just put them away.

That's good to know

Did you not put in your DOB on purpose to see if they process it ?
Or was it an oversight on your part ?

PS: I can't believe some idiots send money without being asked for it - that reason was funny

I submited back in November '04 the AR-11 for the whole family, I didn't sign the children's one and were returned with a letter saying that the parent or guardian ought to sign them.

Hi,
I changed my address 2 days back.Yesterday I sent one priority mail to DHS with 2 Ar-11 forms, one for myself and other for my wife.
Also I have posted it with receipt confirmation required.
Does DHS also send the receipt.
Also do I have to call 1-800 number and change the address there also.

thru your delievery service.

Great Job AWB.I appreciate the effort you put on AR-11 issue to bring the
'Mice out'.
Your post rests the apprehensions/notions/misunderstandings of that--
Every AR-11,that was sent are not looked in to or may be sent to trash can or AR-11 is not really an important entity really for CIS.
So AR-11 has an powerful arm and every AR-11 is carefully noted.

DHS is stupid too because they could have returned teh check but still
process AR-11.

Many lawyers do have AR-11 filing service.

Last time. So it is an good diea to always get a passport
stamp on your passport. If you travel in and out very
frequenctly, it is also a good idea to keep a seperate
log to record each entry/exit
