I'm a US citizen. My fiance is an F1 Holder. How long is the wait period for GC?
I'm a US citizen. My fiance is an F1 visa holder. After we get married and applied for her green card, how long would the wait period be until she actually gets the card? Another way to put my question is, how long after applying for her green card would she have to wait until she gets her green card's rights? She would like to apply for the government's college loan, but she is not qualified for it until she gets her green card.

it totally depends on which district office has jurisdiction over where you live
