Travelling on "expired" green card

Hello,
I applied for a removal of my conditional status and received my Notice of Action back in April, 2005. After searching the net (couldn't find any info on the INS page), I understand that I can travel with my expired green card, the NOA letter, and my passport. Since I received my NOA my passport has expired and I now have a new passport (Swedish). Do I need to get a new I-551 stamp or can I travel on my new passport, expired gc and letter?

Thanks for your help.
kris.

Even if you can, don't do it. Get your passport stamped before you leave US.
