Does creating business plan on h1b count as work?
hi,
I am on h1b with a us firm and thinking of starting a business on my own. I understand that i am only allowed to be a passive investor in any firm and an authorized citizen or PR needs to run day-to-day operations. My question: Does creating a business plan with what the business is going to do and the projected financials constitute as work? I want to know if this is a viable investment in the first place and need the above documents to make a judgement. The firm has not been created yet. However, the CEO, in future, will use this document to carry out the plan. Thank you for your responses. Regards, raoa1
