Application for H-4, entry in USA and pending green card application
HI:
I recently got married in India and want to bring my wife to US. I currently have a valid H-1 till June 2007 and have got fingerprinted for my green card in April 2005. My wife is gonna apply to US Embassy - mumbai for her H-4 visa. I already filed an amendment to my I-485 stating that I am married and attached my marriage papers. We are having a formal wedding party in end of June and then flying back to US. I am wondering, what happens if my I-485 gets approved before we enter back in US. 1. Will I be able to come back to the country based on my current H-1 stamp? 2. Will my wife be able to come back in the country with H-4 even though my I-485 is approved? Any guidance you experts could provide on this would be really appreciated. Regards,
