Need info on Computer Systems Analyst (canadian citzen)

Hi all
Let me give some background here ! I am currently visiting US.

1) I am canadian Citizen.
2) I have 3 years of Post Secondary Education, Systems Analyst.
actually 2 diplomas which took 3 years.( 1 = computer programmer,
2 = Systems Analyst ).

In few weeks I will be getting a job offer from a prospective employer.
My concern and confusion is that do I also need 3years of experience.
Although i worked for major Parcel Company in Canada in Office for a year, but not in IT and othe places for over 4years.

Any help and suggestion is appreciated.

2nd question when anyone of you went at the border for getting Tn visa. What kinda interview questions did they ask ?

Yes. If you are qualifying based on a diploma instead of a degree, you must have 3 years of related experience.
