I need some help
Hello
Me and my wife are living in Canada, She has dual citizenship, and been living in Canada since she was 14, my question is: is there anyway to get around the 125% above the U.S. poverty level to be a sponsor, this is hard for her since she has never worked in the USA. Thanks. John |

in order to be a sponsor, your wife must actually live in the United States, or it’s territory or possession. She may still be eligible even when living abroad if she can show that yours/her residence in Canada is temporary and that she still have a permanent residence in the United States.

Your wife can come to live here without problems, I don’t know about your status. Also, since she was 14 when she moved to Canada there might be other obstacles preventing her to file right way. You better consult legal services.
